Day 298c

Jet Blue to the Rescue.
After our flight got cancelled from AirTran. We quickly got on the phone with Jet Blue and booked a 4:14pm flight out of Ft Myers to Boston today...Airtran gave us a refund of our cancelled return flight...but it still cost us $230 extra just to fly Jet Blue...Who cares...Jet Blue got us Back to Boston Saturday by 7:30pm.

Day 298b

Arrived at the Ft Myers airport at 8:30am to find out that our flight with AirTran was once again delayed 3 hours. Our 10:10am flight was now scheduled for 1:20pm.

At 12noon....we heard over the intercom system that our flight to Boston has now been Canceled....The next possible flight home was not until 11:00am on Sunday with layovers in Tornado infested Atlanta GA. and we would not arrive in Boston until Sunday night at 9:30pm. UGH...DOUBLE UGH

Day 298a

Today, Saturday March 15th we had an 10:10am AirTran flight out of Ft Myers Florida back home to Boston. This was the beautiful Sunrise we saw on the way to the airport.

Saw this red flower in different stages of bloom on a tree in Naples Florida. Can anyone Identify this for me please? Very cool looking I thought.

Today is our last Day in Naples Florida. Had another great day on the Golf Course. Loving this warm weather. We had a great week!!

It was a beautiful, sunny, blue sky morning on the golf course this morning. And today I played the best that I have all week. Tomorrow's tee time is 10:15am. Yippeee I can sleep in...finally!

As you all may know I am from Eastern MA and am vacationing in Naples Florida this week...Tonight we were downtown Naples..on 5th Ave which is a very buzzing place at night. Lots of shops and restaurants. saw this guy painting and asked him if I could take his photo. We got to chatting about photography, painting, nature etc and it ends up that he lives in Newburyport MA (which is 15 minutes down the street from me) and every year he spends a month in Naples painting and conducting painting workshops. And does the same in Newburyport. He was an interesting man and it was a pleasure to meet him. It is indeed a small world!!
