Year 2_Day 128

Another rainy day in my new car....Who is this lovely blonde woman and could she be the first one to be a passenger in the new Jeep???

Year 2_Day 127

Today was my first real day with me new car....but it rained and poured hard all day...and it is going to be pouring all weekend here in Eastern Massachusetts, so I can;t really have fun in the sun with it yet. Who do you think will be the first to ride in it besides my family?

I played in a golf tournament today to benefit Red Cross of Northeastern Massachusetts. Had a fun day. Billy Costa, News and Entertainment Director of Boston's Kiss 108 Radio and Host of Boston's TV Diner show, was the auctioneer at the event's awards reception. He did a fantastic job in raising more money for Red Cross through the live auction. Well done Billy!!

Went to a wedding this evening for a friend's daughter. Believe it or not, i decided not to bring my DSLR Camera...but instead took my cheap little point and shoot...ugh...it was the hardest thing to use. The recovery time between photos i swear was like a 30 seconds...ugh.

Put a light in the window, 'cause I feel I've got to move.
Though I'm going, going, I'll be coming home soon,
'Long as I can see the light.
Pack my bag and let's get movin', 'cause I'm bound to drift a while.
When I'm gone, gone, you don't have to worry long,
'Long as I can see the light.

We do not believe in ourselves until someone reveals that deep inside us something is valuable, worth listening to, worthy of our trust, sacred to our touch. Once we believe in ourselves we can risk curiosity, wonder, spontaneous delight or any experience that reveals the human spirit.

Every September the Health Care Foundation that I work for organizes a Charity Golf Tournament to benefit the Hospitals that are in the Health Care System. For the past 3-4 years I have been THAT person that does all the soliciting and organization of it. It is a lot of fun but a lot of work.. But I would not trade this responsibility for the world. I have met some fantastic people through my efforts. As a token of appreciation for all the work that I put into making this year’s golf tournament a huge success once again, and increasing our revenue from last year, my boss game me these brand new ecco golf shoes. WOW…these are awesome. Did I mention that I love my job???

Year 2_Day 102

Today I drove my 20 yr old son out to UMass Amherst to start his junior year in college. I will miss him dearly while he is in school, but I love our mother/son time together ...driving the 2 hours to Amherst MA talking, laughing and listening to the music on "his" iPod,Helping him move into his dorm, and then having lunch together. It was a GREAT day and a tearful goodbye. But I know he is going to have a great year....I loved seeing him happy at school again.

I can't believe that I have a 20 year old and that he is already starting his 3rd year in college....They grow up so fast. So treasure every day and every minute that you spend with your children.
